Recreational Activities

You will have the opportunity to take part in many activities at lunchtimes, after 3.25, and at weekends.  You might also want to go on school trips in the holidays.  All these activities are organised by teachers, sometimes with the help and support of parents and friends of the school.

While activities available vary from time to time they have recently included:

Badminton, basketball, board games, brass group, chess, choirs, computing, concert band, dancing, drama, games workshop, golf, hockey for both boys and girls, (indoor) soccer for both boys and girls, netball, trampoline, orchestra, public speaking, recorder group, rugby for both boys and girls, string group, table tennis, volleyball and woodwind group.

There is usually at least one trip abroad organised each year, and details are made available early in the session. For example this year a ski trip took place in February 2009 and another is planned for 2010.
